Under the Patronage of General Women’s Union, Inspire Sports Management welcomed Laila Ali, four-time World Boxing Champion and Fitness & Wellness Expert, daughter of legendary boxing champion, Muhammad Ali, as the guest of honour at the event Inspirational Women of Fitness 2013 on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The fitness event was in support of Imperial College of London Diabetes Center’s campaign to fight diabetes and Operation Smile, UAE.
While in Abu Dhabi, Laila Ali visited Imperial College of London Diabetes Center in Abu Dhabi in support of their campaign against diabetes. Laila also visited Al Bateen Secondary School and Zayed University and spoke to the students on the importance of being healthy from an early age as well as the various challenges she faced during her career. She also visited the General Women’s Union premises where she toured the facilities and answered questions from the press.
Laila concluded her visit by participating in a ladies only Inspirational Women of Fitness Event featuring a Health and Nutrition discussion followed by a Zumba Masterclass, and a BodyCombat and BodyAttack classes.
Under the Patronage of General Women’s Union, Inspire Sports Management in partnership with Mubadala, Al Dar Academies, and SMK Tennis, welcomed tennis Legend, Monica Seles, Tennis Hall of Fame inductee, and winner of 9 Grand Slam titles, 53 singles and 6 doubles titles, as the guest of honor at the event Inspirational Women 2014 on the occasion of International Women’s Day in support of Make a Wish Foundation UAE.
During her visit, Monica was the guest of honor at Al Dar Academies Tennis Challenge where she spoke to students from primary and secondary schools who participated in fun tennis challenges as well as a girls and boys tournaments. Miss Seles also visited Zayed University to share with the students her experiences and the many challenges she faced through out her career. She also visited the General Women’s Union premises where she toured the facilities and answered questions from the press.
To support Inspire’s launch of their Tennis Academy, Monica held private Tennis clinics at the Emirates Palace courts where she shared with all the many techniques she mastered on her way to becoming a Tennis Legend. SMK Tennis also invited Miss Seles to conduct a private ladies only tennis clinic focusing on developing ladies tennis in Abu Dhabi.
Inspire Sports Inspirational Woman for 2015 was Kendra Lancaster, an American Paralympic volleyball player, born without a left arm in Indianapolis, Indiana. She started competing for Paralympic Games in 2004 where she won a bronze medal for her participation at 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece. In 2008 she participated at 2008 Paralympics where she won a silver medal. In 2011 and 2012 respectively she won 2 more silver medals for Sitting Volleyball World Championships and for 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
Kendra currently lives in Abu Dhabi and is an active member of the Enthusiastic Volleyball Team which co-founded with Inspire Sports the annual Inspire Ladies Volleyball League for a cause.
Since 2013, Inspire Sports in collaboration with Enthusiastic have been organizing annually the Inspire Ladies Volleyball League which features inter–league matches between teams leading to qualifying and final rounds and overall winners in different categories receiving valuable prizes, with all proceeds going to a worthy charitable cause. The last 3 years the Ladies League has managed to raise awareness and valuable funds for EWA’A Shelters for Victims of Human Trafficking. As of 2014, the Inspire Ladies Volleyball League is proudly held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Shaikha bint Mohamed bin Khalid Al Nahyan.
Inspire Camps promise to provide your children with fun, healthy and educational activities during their time off from school. Held during the Winter Spring and Summer holidays, the Camps are open to children from the ages of 4 to 13 and include a variety of activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, kick boxing, mini tennis, yoga, Hip Hop, Arts and Crafts, story telling, and educational games.

One of the most popular events in the Inspire calendar, the annual Hip Hop Concert, held under the patronage of the General Women’s Union, features children from the age of 4 to 16 performing in choreographed dances showcasing the skills learnt through out the training season which spans from September to June.
An annual grand production eagerly anticipated by students and parents, the Ballet Recital consists of a themed musical dance performance featuring students from the age of three.
Inspire Sports in partnership with Mirage Events proudly organized in 2014 for the first time in the region, a spectacular fitness event, featuring Beto Perez, the creator of the world’s leading fitness extravaganza, ZUMBA®, who led a star studded team of performers in an exciting Zumba® Masterclass.
Due to the popularity of this event, which was attended by a large number of Zumba® enthusiasts who came to Abu Dhabi specially for the event from all over the globe, we are planning many more Zumba® MasterClasses featuring a variety of Zumba® stars.
Our ballet and hip hop season starts in September and ends in June with a wonderful end of year performance on stage for all the students in all levels. These performances give the students confidence and a sense of achievement and they always prove to be the highlight of dance performances in the the Abu Dhabi community.
